Potential minor architecture project for this year is building out a wooden cabin structure for my 1982 truck with 7’ bed. The wooden canopy built for the bed by previous owner is still intact, but doesn’t have any windows currently. I may use this old structure as base for new shell, or start over with new frame to build over the top of the truck cab as well as the bed.
Pretty cool. I know it is not easy to find the fiberglass caps for the old toyota
I haven’t searched for fiberglass canopy for this truck, have one for other truck. Might be possible to find a 7’ one for this 82 truck but the custom wooden one built by previous owner is still good except for not having windows.
Truck has been sitting on jack stands for few months haven’t gotten to starting work yet over winter no fun working outside. Should be able to start making progress soon since is now spring.
Yeah outside work in the winter is rough. ATM healing up from frostbite in my left foot. Off work til at least Middle of May.
Ouch that is no good about frost bite hope that heals alright.
So far so good. Just a long process. Going a bit stir crazy as I am supposed to try and stay off the foot.
